Sierra - Class of 2018!

How are today's high schoolers so gorgeous? I can't figure it out!

I recently did a senior shoot with Sierra, and let me tell you - I couldn't believe she wasn't a signed model!! I barely had to direct her. Sierra was homeschooled and went into class two days a week, that sounds so much better than my high school experience waking up every morning at 6 am!

Sierra is going to Southern Adventist University this coming fall for four years to study biology. During her sophomore year she plans on traveling abroad to study, she hopes it's somewhere in Europe! After Sierra graduates, she hopes to go to medical school in California to specialize in cardiology. That sounds like a long and eventful journey, I can't wait to see where her future takes her!

Here's some photos from our shoot! Her makeup was done by Meg Bryan!

Ashley Luck, Class of 2017

Meet the soon to be graduate who's already starting her career.

Ashley Luck recently did her VCU graduation shoot with me and I'm excited to share a couple facts about her! She's a mass communications major with a concentration in digital journalism, and she chose this major because she loves keeping people informed and telling people's stories. You can tell her love for her major through the photos I'm posting below! She brought her AP style book, journal, and recorder to accompany her at our photoshoot!

Ashley chose VCU because she's from Richmond and loves the city. She says her favorite thing about her major is getting to meet new people and sharing their stories. Ashley has even scored an awesome gig post-graduation so I'm sure she's ready to be outta here! She's a general assignment for the tidewater review and she will be covering local news for West Point, New Kent County, King William County, and King and Queen County in Virginia.

Ashley is also a fellow dog lover and coffee addict! Congratulations on making it through college, Ashley!

Naomi Vinod, VCU Class of 2017

After hosting a contest on my Facebook page, Naomi was the random winner of my free VCU graduation shoot!

Naomi is a biology major and her dream job is to work in the medical field and be apart of Doctors Without Borders. I asked her why she chose VCU in the first place and she told me that she really enjoys learning about new and different cultures and expanding her mindset. VCU is definitely the place for emerging yourself in different cultures and a variety of people!! She's also in an academic fraternity, Delta Epsilon Mu (ΔEM).

After a rainy few days, I was a little nervous the weather wouldn't be on our side today. She drove all the way from NOVA straight to our shoot. It was pouring in NOVA but thank goodness the weather held out for us today and for the rest of the shoots I had scheduled on this busy Sunday! If you want to know something crazy, she didn't even realize she was able to graduate early until hours before her classes were set in stone. What an amazing surprise! I need that to happen to me!!

I was only planning on editing a few photos today but I got so excited I ended up finishing the whole thing!
